Your Green residence
Hey everyone from every college's green residences! How's it going?
So what does your green res do to be more eco-friendly? I'm from Grinnell's EcoHouse, which was founded in fall 2008. We've installed low-flow toilets and faucets, in our showers and kitchen. We've also re-insulated the house, and next year we plan to put in solar hot water, triple-pane windows, and possibly window quilts. In the winter we bundle up instead of turning up the heat, and we try to use local foods as much as possible.
